Beresfield golf course is an interesting golf course. It's not the most well presented course but it's cheap to play at and its not a full 18 holes so you can get a game in early before work. Beresfield Golf Course is an 11 hole, well maintained public golf course. An 18 hole game is available by playing the first 7 holes again.
The Course is located at the western gateway to Newcastle on land bounded by the New England Highway to the south and Anderson Drive, Beresfield to the north. So, it's easy to get to, just be careful not to hit the ball onto the road if you hook it too much.
The facilities include, a pro-shop providing golf club & golf cart hire, equipment repairs, drinks and snacks,
toilets & showers, tuition for beginners and juniors, parking, picnic facilities plus disabled access and amenities.
Don't get too excited, it can be fun though; a day with your mates and an esky on wheels on a summer afternoon.
